The Air Base DRC Weapons Locker stands in The Armory of the Chang-san Air Base Bunker, grid B6. It is a tall yellow and blue locker with the DRC Defense Research Center logo on the door. We have opened it three times, and it does not always stand in the same corner of the armory, so look along every wall of the room. The armory was an Extreme threat area in our run. How to Get the Air Base DRC Weapons Locker Key
The Air Base DRC Weapons Locker key is field loot. Ours came from a duffel in Imjin Farmland. Every other key and the door it opens is in our MW4 DMZ keys guide.
How to Get Into the Armory
The hard part is not the locker but the room. The way into the Armory is too long to show in one video, so the simple answer is to follow the quest line of Operation Iron Citadel until it takes you into the Armory. In short, it goes like this.
- Start Operation Iron Citadel with the key in your backpack and work through the mission at Chang-san Air Base.
- Down in the bunker, find the three notes with the parts of the six digit code. The code is different every match.
- Enter the code at the armory keypad, go in and find the yellow DRC locker. Open it before you finish the armory step of the mission.

From one opening in our own run. Loot is random, so your room can roll differently, and we add every new run of this key. Values are per item, from the in-game tooltips. The loot value adds up every item with a known value and the cash, so it is a lower bound: crafting resources and items without a value are not in it.
Our latest locker held an Epic pistol with four attachments, a Rare 3D printer recipe for an armor vest, Weak Night Vision Goggles, Nuclear Program Files and an Encrypted Archive. In earlier openings it gave a 3-Plate Helmet Armor and a weapon manual, so expect a mix of gear, a weapon and valuables.

Is the Air Base DRC Weapons Locker Key Worth It?
Absolutely. The loot is great, and in our runs there was always at least one good item in the locker, like a recipe or a weapon manual. The catch is getting the key, which is very hard to find. If you do have it, only go for it while you run Operation Iron Citadel. Without the mission, getting to the Armory takes long and it is dangerous. With it, you spawn closer and are usually the first squad at the air base and most likely also in the Armory. Put the key in a secure slot of your backpack before you go in. And if the locker is not where it stands in our video, look around the room, because it does not always spawn in the same spot.
