Gun Store Weapons Locker is a Rare key in MW4 DMZ. It opens one weapons locker in the basement of a gun store, and there are two of them on Hajin, in Cheongun Village and in Songdo Wharf. Both stores have the same layout, so the route below works for each. Here is where the doors are, how to get there and what we found in both.

TL;DR
  • Two gun stores, the shooting clubs with the cartoon sign, in west Cheongun Village (E4) and north Songdo Wharf (I6).
  • Go in, take the stairs down and walk to the dark room with the green weapons lockers at the back.
  • One key opens one locker and is used up. Both stores were Low threat in our runs.
  • Each locker held two weapons and a few extras, with an Epic Medium Scavenger Backpack and a Rare Han 86 as our best finds.
Songdo Wharf, from the front door down to the locker, sped up.

Where the Gun Store Weapons Lockers Are

There are two gun stores on Hajin, and both are shooting clubs with a cartoon gunner on the sign. The first is in west Cheongun Village, across the street from the police station, grid E4. The second is in north Songdo Wharf, a building with a curved red front, grid I6. In both, the weapons lockers are in the basement, in a dark room at the end of the corridor. Both stores were a Low threat area in our runs. You can also find both under the keys layer on our interactive MW4 DMZ map.

How to Get the Gun Store Weapons Locker Key

The Gun Store Weapons Locker key comes out of the Trap Equipment Kit and the Explosives Equipment Kit, two of the Survival Kits, and it is also field loot. Both kits are also in the Season 1 Battle Pass, the Trap Equipment Kit free at tier 34 and the Explosives Equipment Kit at tier 49. Every other key and the door it opens is in our MW4 DMZ keys guide.

The Route to the Lockers

  1. Go in through the front of the gun store and cross the shop floor to the stairwell.
  2. Take the stairs all the way down to the basement and follow the corridor.
  3. At the end is a dark room with green weapons lockers. Walk up to one with the key and the prompt reads Gun Store Weapons Locker.
Cheongun Village, the same layout, sped up.

From 2 openings in our own runs. The best finds cover all of them, and the run buttons show what one opening held. Loot is random, so your room can roll differently, and we add every new run of this key. Values are per item, from the in-game tooltips. The loot value adds up every item with a known value and the cash, so it is a lower bound: crafting resources and items without a value are not in it.

The Cheongun locker held a Hyeon Burst assault rifle and a Rezi 12 shotgun, plus Degraded Execution Footage, a Portable Radar and an Epic Medium Scavenger Backpack. The Songdo locker held a Rare Han 86 assault rifle, Nuclear Program Files, Detonators and a Disposable Parachute. In an earlier run in Cheongun the locker gave an Oris 8.6 sniper. Expect a weapon with attachments and one or two valuables or pieces of gear.

Is the Gun Store Weapons Locker Key Worth It?

Yes, if you need a weapon, or if you dropped in without a good loadout and want one straight away. A locker often gives you one or two good weapons, and with some luck a backpack as well. The basement also has lockers that open without a key, so grab those while you are down there. This locker is mostly gear, so think weapons, backpacks and plate carriers, not 3D printer ingredients or resources.
