Mr Peeks has seven spawn locations on Ashes of the Damned in BO7 Cursed Mode, spread right across the map: Janus Towers Plaza, Blackwater Lake, Vandorn Farm, two spots in Ashwood, Exit 115 at the diner, and Zarya Cosmodrome. He picks one at random when he appears, plays his music, and gives you 60 seconds to shoot him for an egg.

Ashes is a big map with the second most Mr Peeks spots of any Cursed map, so a route matters here. This guide maps every spot and the fastest way to reach him. For how the mechanic works everywhere, see our Mr Peeks BO7 guide, and for the mode itself, our Cursed Mode guide.

TL;DR
  • Mr Peeks has 7 spawn spots on Ashes of the Damned, and he rolls one at random each time.
  • He has about a 10% chance to spawn per round, from round 1 onward, on tier 1 or higher.
  • Find him by his music, then shoot him within 60 seconds of the round starting.
  • A launchpad route from Zarya through Ashwood to Exit 115 checks four of the seven spots in one round.

What Is Mr Peeks?

Mr Peeks is a Cursed-exclusive Easter egg. He only appears on tier 1 or higher, and he can show up on any round, including round one. When he spawns, he plays music and dances at one of the map’s fixed spots. Shoot him during that window and he drops an egg full of loot. Miss him and he leaves with nothing.

The rules are the same as every other Cursed map, including Totenreich and Kowakujo:

  • He has roughly a 10% chance to spawn on any given round.
  • He can spawn in areas you have not opened yet, so an unbought section is not off limits.
  • You get 60 seconds from the start of the round to reach him and shoot him.
  • You find him by sound. If you hear music and there is no radio near you, that is him.

What makes Ashes different is the size and the seven spread-out spots. The spawn map below was built by Zircuit from the ZoneX community, who tracked every location.

All 7 Mr Peeks Spawn Locations on Ashes of the Damned

Here is the full map. Each colored bunny marks one of the seven spots, with a matching in-game shot down the side so you know what you are looking for. Click any image to enlarge it.

1. Janus Towers Plaza

Over in Janus Towers Plaza he spawns on the roof of the small guard hut in the middle of the plaza, right by the road crossing. He sits just above head height here, so he is easy to miss if you sprint past the hut without glancing up.

2. Blackwater Lake

At Blackwater Lake he perches in the gable of the log cabin, right above the entrance stairs. Walk up to the front of the cabin and look at the peak above the porch, he tucks into the triangle under the roofline.

3. Vandorn Farm

Out at Vandorn Farm he sits on the edge of the big barn roof, right above the doors on the windmill side. Scan the barn roofline as you come up the path and his blue glow pops against the dark wood.

4. Ashwood (east)

Ashwood has two spots. The first sits on the east side of the town by Market Square, up on one of the buildings. Keep your camera up as you push through Ashwood, both of its spawns are easy to run under.

5. Ashwood (Hotel)

The second Ashwood spot is at the Hotel, where he sits on the balcony railing right under the Hotel sign. You can line him up from the Rabbit Alley side below. Between this one and the east spawn, Ashwood is worth learning well since two of the seven spots live here.

6. Zarya Cosmodrome

Out at Zarya Cosmodrome he sits on the small platform partway up the rocket gantry tower. This is a proper look-up spot, he perches on the metal structure well above the ground, so aim high and pick out his glow against the sky.

7. Exit 115 (Diner Rooftop)

At Exit 115 he lands on the Reba’s Diner rooftop, up on the frame of the big neon sign. You can spot him from the street by looking up at the sign, or climb onto the roof itself for a point-blank shot.

Best Route to Find Mr Peeks on Ashes of the Damned

Ashes is large and the seven spots are so spread out that from any one position you can only watch a single spot, or two if you post up in Ashwood. Be honest with yourself about that: this is not a map where you passively catch every spawn while you train.

If you do want to catch him early, say for a high-round run or an Easter egg attempt, hop a route at the start of each round instead of holding one area. Our team’s version: start at Zarya Cosmodrome, and if he is not there, launchpad to Ashwood and check both spots, then push on to Exit 115. That one loop covers four of the seven spots instead of one. The launchpads cost 500 points per launch, so keep a little money spare for the route.

In a full squad it gets even better. With four players each holding a different area you realistically cover five of the seven spots, since whoever takes Ashwood watches two at once.

Most of the Ashes spots put Mr Peeks up high, on rooftops, towers, and the diner sign. Keep your camera up as you move so you do not sprint straight under him.

Mr Peeks Egg Rewards by Tier

The egg Mr Peeks drops comes in three rarities, and your Cursed tier decides which ones are possible. The rewards are the same across every map, so what you learn here applies to Totenreich, Kowakujo, and the rest.

Egg RarityAvailable FromRewards
BronzeTier 1+3,000 points, raw aetherium crystal, scorestreak, 3 random mystery perks
SilverTier 2+5,000 salvage, ether tool, raw aetherium crystal, up to 5 mystery perks, monkey bomb, scorestreak
GoldTier 3 onlyAround 25,000 to 30,000 points, flawless aetherium crystal, legendary aether tool, 10 mystery perks, scorestreak, 2 wonder weapons

Silver eggs are the sweet spot for most players. The mix of salvage, an ether tool, and up to five mystery perks gives you a strong base for the rest of the run, and the monkey bomb can save you in a pinch. Gold only drops on tier 3, and even then it is uncommon, so treat it as a lucky roll rather than a plan.

Play tier 3 to farm eggs

Higher tier means better eggs across the board, and tier 3 is the only place gold drops. Even a bronze egg early on gives you three free perks that snowball the rest of your run.

Tips From Our Team

Learn the launchpad first

On a map this size the launchpad is the difference between catching Mr Peeks and watching him vanish. Before you even start hunting him, get comfortable with where the launchpad sends you so you can commit to it without thinking when the music kicks in.

Ashwood holds two spots

Two of the seven spawns are in Ashwood, so it is the highest-value area to train near. Learn both the east building and the Hotel sign spots and you cover a big chunk of his spawn table from one part of the map.

Grab the early ones

Even a bronze egg on an early round is worth chasing. A few free perks in the first handful of rounds snowballs into a much stronger run, so do not skip a spawn just because you are not on tier 3 yet. Need a squad to grind Cursed tiers? Use our BO7 LFG system to find teammates.

When you hear music and there is no radio near you, drop everything and check the map. On Ashes the spots are far apart, so every second before you commit to the launchpad counts.

The location map was created by Zircuit from the ZoneX community, who tracked every spawn on Ashes of the Damned. New to the mode overall? Start with our BO7 Endgame guide, then read the official Black Ops 7 page for the latest Zombies updates.

How many Mr Peeks spawn locations are on Ashes of the Damned?

How do you find Mr Peeks on Ashes of the Damned?

Can you get a gold egg from Mr Peeks on Ashes of the Damned?

Yes, but only on tier 3 Cursed. Tier 1 caps at bronze and tier 2 can roll bronze or silver. Even on tier 3 the gold egg is uncommon and you can still get a bronze, so tier 3 is your only shot at gold rather than a guarantee.

How often does Mr Peeks spawn in BO7 Cursed Mode?

No. Mr Peeks appears in Cursed Mode on tier 1 or higher no matter your Easter egg progress. You do need to beat the map's Easter egg before you can unlock relic challenges, but that is separate from finding Mr Peeks and grabbing his eggs.
