Find him within the time window, interact, and he drops an egg. The Lucky Gold Egg is confirmed at Spira Insula, so make that your first stop every run. How the Cursed Mode Spawn Works
When Cursed Mode starts on Rex Infernus, Mr Peeks activates at exactly one of these six locations for that round. He does not move around the map. He is standing still at his chosen spot, waiting. The catch is the time window: once Cursed Mode begins, you have a limited window to find and interact with him before the opportunity closes. Miss it and you wait for the next Cursed Mode activation.
The sweep route matters here. Six locations spread across the map sounds like a lot, but Rex Infernus is compact enough that you can cover all six in a single circuit if you already know where each one is. That is what this post gives you. The shots below show each exact position, so there is no guessing involved.
Mr Peeks only appears in Cursed Mode. If you are running Rex Infernus outside of Cursed Mode, none of these spots will have him. Trigger Cursed Mode first, then immediately start the route.
1. Aranea Insula
Aranea Insula is the western side of the map and a clean first stop if you are starting the route from that direction. Mr Peeks sits near the outer edge of the area, low against the rock wall. He is not behind any cover or up on a ledge, so a quick visual sweep as you enter the zone is enough to confirm whether he is there. If he is not, you are back on the route in under ten seconds.
The wall position means he can blend into the stone texture at a glance. Look at ground level along the far wall, not at the centre of the area. One second of focus and you will see him.

2. Caltheris Passage
Caltheris Passage is a narrower zone that runs between two of the larger island areas. The enclosed layout actually works in your favour: the corridor is short enough that you cannot miss Mr Peeks as long as you walk its full length. He will be somewhere along the passage, and there is nowhere for him to hide behind the walls.
The tighter geometry also makes zombie management easier here than in open areas. If you need half a second to interact without getting hit, Caltheris Passage gives you more room to do that than somewhere like Spira Insula. Fast check, low risk.

3. Nexus Forge
Nexus Forge has two possible spots where Mr Peeks can stand, both within the same zone but at opposite ends: one near the entrance as you come in from the passage side, one deeper in close to the forge structure itself. You need to check both before ruling the zone out. The shot below shows the entrance-side position. If he is not there, the forge side is a few steps deeper into the same area.
If neither sub-spot has him, you have eliminated one of the larger zones cleanly and can push on.

4. Nyxara Passage
Nyxara Passage sits close to the centre of the map, making it a natural mid-route checkpoint. Mr Peeks appears on one side of the passage opening, visible from the approach if you are looking at the right angle. This spot came up often in our runs. Find him here and you pick up a regular egg, shown next to the location shot below.

5. Nyxara Sanctuary
Nyxara Sanctuary is right next to the Passage, which is why we pair them on the route. Check one and you are already at the other. The Sanctuary is a more open area than the Passage, and Mr Peeks stands in an exposed part of it with no obstacles between you and him. This is one of the simpler spots to clear: come in, scan, interact or move on.
On earlier rounds the Sanctuary tends to be quieter in terms of zombie pressure, which gives you a clean window to interact without juggling a train. The egg drop here is a regular egg, the same tier as Nyxara Passage.

6. Spira Insula
Spira Insula is where you want to start. In our playthroughs this is the location that handed us the Lucky Gold Egg, a tier above the regular drops at the other confirmed spots. Mr Peeks sits near the edge of the island, visible from the main entry point of the area. The position is straightforward to reach.
Honestly, this is the one spawn point where the reward justifies burning your first-stop priority on it every single run. The Lucky Gold Egg is meaningfully better, and if he happens to be there, you have the best drop the map offers without having touched the rest of the route. If he is not there, the Nyxara pair is close and you have barely lost any time.

Start at Spira Insula for the Lucky Gold Egg chance. If he is not there, sweep Nyxara Sanctuary and Nyxara Passage as a pair since they are adjacent. Then push through Nexus Forge (check both spots), Caltheris Passage, and finish at Aranea Insula. One full circuit, no backtracking. Run this route a couple of times in normal play to get the timing down before you commit it to a high-round Cursed Mode attempt where the margin for error is smaller.
