Mr Peeks has seven spawn locations on Astra Malorum in BO7 Cursed Mode, spread right across the asteroid: the observatory dome, the Abyssal Rim edge, the dome interior, an upper walkway, the viaduct, the overlook by Museum Infinitum, and the truck at the Crash Site spawn. He picks one at random when he appears, plays his music, and gives you 60 seconds to shoot him for an egg.

Astra is a big, sprawling map, so his seven spots are far apart and a route matters. This guide maps every spot, plus the teleporter route our team uses to check most of them inside the timer. For how the mechanic works everywhere, see our Mr Peeks BO7 guide, and for the mode itself, our Cursed Mode guide.

TL;DR
  • Mr Peeks has 7 spawn spots on Astra Malorum, and he rolls one at random each time.
  • He has about a 10% chance to spawn per round, from round 1 onward, on tier 1 or higher.
  • Find him by his music, then shoot him within 60 seconds of the round starting.
  • The spots are spread across the asteroid. The 500-point teleporter at Pack-a-Punch is the key to checking most of them in time.

What Is Mr Peeks?

Mr Peeks is a Cursed-exclusive Easter egg. He only appears on tier 1 or higher, and he can show up on any round, including round one. When he spawns, he plays music and dances at one of the map’s fixed spots. Shoot him during that window and he drops an egg full of loot. Miss him and he leaves with nothing.

The rules are the same as every other Cursed map, including Ashes of the Damned and Totenreich:

  • He has roughly a 10% chance to spawn on any given round.
  • He can spawn in areas you have not opened yet, so an unbought section is not off limits.
  • You get 60 seconds from the start of the round to reach him and shoot him.
  • You find him by sound. If you hear music and there is no radio near you, that is him.

What makes Astra different is the size and how spread out the seven spots are. The spawn map below was built by Zircuit from the ZoneX community, who tracked every location.

All 7 Mr Peeks Spawn Locations on Astra Malorum

Here is the full map. Each colored bunny marks one of the seven spots, with a matching in-game shot down the side so you know what you are looking for. Click any image to enlarge it.

1. The observatory dome

He perches on the railing of the walkway that circles the top of the big stone dome. You can line him up from the rocks on the Abyssal Rim side, where he pokes out just above the dome’s crown. Look up rather than sweeping the ground, he sits well above eye level here.

2. The Abyssal Rim edge

This one sits below the edge of the map at the Abyssal Rim, tucked down in the rocks with the void behind him. Peeking over the edge barely shows him, which is why so many players lose this spawn.

Team trick for this spot: stand on the edge near the Wisp perk machine and jump into the void. You do not die, you respawn on the edge and take some damage, and mid-fall you get a clear look at him. Skip it when a train of zombies is on you, void damage plus zombie hits can down you. Explosive weapons like Mustang and Sally make the shot easy since you do not need to aim precisely, but a normal gun works too.

3. The dome interior

Inside the large domed rotunda, the Machina Astralis room with the hanging orrery, he sits high near the ceiling in the middle. Look up past the planets and the glass chandelier and you will catch his blue glow against the dark.

4. The upper walkway

Over near Museum Infinitum he sits on the railing atop the tall brick tower at the edge of the map. This is a proper look-up spot, so keep your camera high as you move underneath and scan the rooftop.

5. The viaduct

Over by the brick viaduct he shows up along the arches. You can spot him from the Crash Site side looking up toward the arched brickwork. He blends into the brick more than the open spots, so watch the wall as you pass through this stretch.

6. The overlook by Museum Infinitum

Right outside Museum Infinitum he sits low in the rocks by a ruined brick wall, with the nebula and asteroid field behind him. You can line him up straight through the museum doorway, his blue glow stands out well against the dark sky.

7. The Crash Site truck

The last spot puts him inside the wrecked pickup truck at the Crash Site, the spawn area. He sits in the cab behind the glass rather than up high, so drop your aim and check the truck instead of the skyline. Easy to clear the moment you arrive through the teleporter.

Best Route to Find Mr Peeks on Astra Malorum

Astra is large and the seven spots are spread out, but the map gives you a tool the other big Cursed maps do not have: the teleporter at Pack-a-Punch takes you straight to the Crash Site spawn for 500 points. Our team’s solo route is built around it.

Hold the area between the Abyssal Rim edge spawn and Pack-a-Punch. When the music starts, check the edge first. If he is not there, run to Pack-a-Punch and take the teleporter to spawn. As you arrive, look behind you and check the truck. If the truck is empty, push on to the cluster where three spots sit close together, the upper walkway, the viaduct, and the Museum Infinitum overlook, and finish at the big domed room. Done clean, that full sweep fits inside the 60 seconds. Then walk back to your anchor between the edge and Pack-a-Punch for the next round.

In coop you barely need a route. With players scattered around the map, everyone covers their own section and calls him out when the music starts.

Mr Peeks Egg Rewards by Tier

The egg Mr Peeks drops comes in three rarities, and your Cursed tier decides which ones are possible. The rewards are the same across every map, so what you learn here applies to Ashes, Totenreich, and the rest.

Egg RarityAvailable FromRewards
BronzeTier 1+3,000 points, raw aetherium crystal, scorestreak, 3 random mystery perks
SilverTier 2+5,000 salvage, ether tool, raw aetherium crystal, up to 5 mystery perks, monkey bomb, scorestreak
GoldTier 3 onlyAround 25,000 to 30,000 points, flawless aetherium crystal, legendary aether tool, 10 mystery perks, scorestreak, 2 wonder weapons

Silver eggs are the sweet spot for most players. The mix of salvage, an ether tool, and up to five mystery perks gives you a strong base for the rest of the run, and the monkey bomb can save you in a pinch. Gold only drops on tier 3, and even then it is uncommon, so treat it as a lucky roll rather than a plan.

Play tier 3 to farm eggs

Higher tier means better eggs across the board, and tier 3 is the only place gold drops. Even a bronze egg early on gives you three free perks that snowball the rest of your run.

Tips From Our Team

Anchor between the edge and Pack-a-Punch

Training near that anchor point means the round always starts with your two hardest checks handled: the edge spawn is right there, and the teleporter to spawn is one short run away. Everything else on the route flows from it, so resist the urge to set up camp on the far side of the asteroid.

Grab the early ones

Even a bronze egg on an early round is worth chasing. A few free perks in the first handful of rounds snowballs into a much stronger run, so do not skip a spawn just because you are not on tier 3 yet. Need a squad to grind Cursed tiers? Use our BO7 LFG system to find teammates.

When you hear music and there is no radio near you, drop everything and check the map. On Astra the spots are far apart, so committing quickly to the right direction is what saves the spawn.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where does Mr Peeks spawn on Astra Malorum in BO7?

Mr Peeks has seven spawn locations on Astra Malorum, spread across the asteroid: the observatory dome, the Abyssal Rim edge, the dome interior, an upper walkway, the viaduct, the overlook by Museum Infinitum, and the truck at the Crash Site spawn. He rolls one at random each time he appears.

How many Mr Peeks spawn locations are on Astra Malorum?

Astra Malorum has seven Mr Peeks spawn locations. They are spread right across the map, so you cannot check them all inside the 60-second window and a route matters.

How do you find Mr Peeks on Astra Malorum?

Listen for his music at the start of a round. When you hear it and no radio is nearby, he has spawned at one of the seven spots. You have 60 seconds to reach him. The teleporter at Pack-a-Punch costs 500 points and jumps you straight to the Crash Site spawn, which makes a full check of most spots possible inside the timer.

What do Mr Peeks eggs give you on Astra Malorum?

Shooting Mr Peeks drops a bronze, silver, or gold egg based on your Cursed tier. Bronze gives 3,000 points, a raw aetherium crystal, a scorestreak, and 3 mystery perks. Silver gives 5,000 salvage, an ether tool, a raw aetherium crystal, up to 5 perks, a monkey bomb, and a scorestreak. Gold gives around 25,000 to 30,000 points, a flawless aetherium crystal, a legendary aether tool, 10 mystery perks, a scorestreak, and 2 wonder weapons.

Can you get a gold egg from Mr Peeks on Astra Malorum?

Yes, but only on tier 3 Cursed. Tier 1 caps at bronze and tier 2 can roll bronze or silver. Even on tier 3 the gold egg is uncommon and you can still get a bronze, so tier 3 is your only shot at gold rather than a guarantee.

How often does Mr Peeks spawn in BO7 Cursed Mode?

Mr Peeks has roughly a 10% chance to spawn on any given round, including round one. Some games he shows up several times and some games not at all, and there is no cap, so keep listening for his music the whole run.

Do you need to beat the Astra Malorum Easter egg to find Mr Peeks?

No. Mr Peeks appears in Cursed Mode on tier 1 or higher no matter your Easter egg progress. You do need to beat the map's Easter egg before you can unlock relic challenges, but that is separate from finding Mr Peeks and grabbing his eggs.
