Mr Peeks has five spawn locations on Kowakujo in BO7 Cursed Mode: the central sakura tree near Juggernog, a rooftop near Double Tap, the cage by the spawn room, the boulder in the Flower Garden, and the Outer Ward near Wisp Tea. He picks one at random when he appears, plays his music, and gives you 60 seconds to shoot him for an egg before he vanishes.

Kowakujo dropped as one of the newest Cursed maps, and the community spent weeks dropping into tier 3 to map every spot. This is the finished result: all five locations, the fastest way to catch him each round, and what his eggs actually give you. For how the mechanic works on every map, see our Mr Peeks BO7 guide, and for the mode itself, our Cursed Mode guide.

TL;DR
  • Mr Peeks has 5 spawn spots on Kowakujo, and he rolls one at random each time.
  • He has about a 10% chance to spawn per round, from round 1 onward, on tier 1 or higher.
  • Find him by his music, then shoot him within 60 seconds of the round starting.
  • Bronze, silver, and gold eggs scale with your Cursed tier. Gold is tier 3 only.

What Is Mr Peeks?

Mr Peeks is a Cursed-exclusive Easter egg. He can only appear when you play tier 1 or higher, and he can show up on any round, including round one. When he spawns, he plays music and dances at one of the map’s fixed locations. Shoot him during that window and he drops an egg full of loot. Miss the window and he leaves with nothing.

A few things carry over from every other Cursed map, including Paradox Junction:

  • He has roughly a 10% chance to spawn on any given round.
  • He can spawn in areas you have not opened yet, so an unbought section is not off limits.
  • You get 60 seconds from the start of the round to reach him and shoot him.
  • You find him by sound. If you hear music and there is no radio near you, that is him.

Kowakujo does not change any of that. What changes map to map is where he hides, and that is the part worth memorizing. Our numbers here line up with ZoneX’s Kowakujo spawn guide, and the location map below comes from his community, who tracked every spot together.

All 5 Mr Peeks Spawn Locations on Kowakujo

Here is the full map. Each colored bunny marks one of the five spots, with a matching in-game shot on the right so you know exactly what you are looking for.

1. The central sakura tree (near Juggernog)

The big cherry blossom tree in the middle of the map is his most talked-about spot. He perches on the upper branch, so look up. When you shoot him here, the egg drops down onto the path leading toward the main castle entrance, right where the armored zombies rush you, so grab it fast.

2. The rooftop near Double Tap

Over on the Double Tap side he sits on a rooftop. This one is easy to run straight past because he is above your normal sightline, so pull your camera up as you move through the area. He stands out against the sky once you spot the right roof.

3. The cage by the spawn room

Near where you start, he can appear above the cage. This is one of the closest spots to spawn, which makes it one of the easiest to reach inside the 60-second window if you happen to be nearby when the music kicks in.

4. The Flower Garden boulder

In the Flower Garden he stands on top of the large boulder out in the open. This is the cleanest spot to shoot because there is nothing blocking your line of sight, you just need the distance. Tag him from range and walk over for the egg.

5. The Outer Ward (Wisp Tea side)

The last spot sits among the ruined buildings in the Outer Ward, over toward the Wisp Tea side. He tucks in around the collapsed rooftops here, so it takes an extra second to pick him out of the rubble compared to the open boulder spot.

Best Route to Find Mr Peeks on Kowakujo

You only get 60 seconds, so the goal is to hear him early and cut straight to the right spot. The single most useful habit: at the start of every round, pause for a second and listen before you start training. If you hear his music, you know he is out, and you can commit to searching instead of second-guessing.

Because he can land at any of the five spots, the smart play is to train somewhere central so you are never more than a short run from most of them. The sakura tree, the cage, and the Double Tap roof all cluster toward the middle, so a central training spot keeps three of the five within easy reach. The Flower Garden boulder and the Outer Ward are the two that cost you the most time, so those are the ones where a quick reaction matters most.

Set your camera high as you move. Three of the five spots put Mr Peeks above your normal eye level (the tree, the roof, the cage), which is exactly where players miss him while sprinting past.

Mr Peeks Egg Rewards by Tier

The egg Mr Peeks drops comes in three rarities, and your Cursed tier decides which ones are possible. The rewards are the same across every map, so what you learn here applies to Totenreich, Astra Malorum, and the rest.

Egg RarityAvailable FromRewards
BronzeTier 1+3,000 points, raw aetherium crystal, scorestreak, 3 random mystery perks
SilverTier 2+5,000 salvage, ether tool, raw aetherium crystal, up to 5 mystery perks, monkey bomb, scorestreak
GoldTier 3 onlyAround 25,000 to 30,000 points, flawless aetherium crystal, legendary aether tool, 10 mystery perks, scorestreak, 2 wonder weapons

Tier 3 is the only place gold eggs drop, and even then they are uncommon. You can still pull a bronze on tier 3, so gold is a lucky roll rather than a sure thing. When one does appear, two wonder weapons and a stack of points from a single egg can carry an entire run.

The exact points on a gold egg vary a little each time, which is why ZoneX rounds it to 30,000 in his video while in-game you will often see a number like 25,300. Either way, it is the biggest single payout Mr Peeks offers.

Play tier 3 to farm eggs

Higher tier means better eggs and better loot all around. If you can survive it, tier 3 turns every Mr Peeks spawn into a real shot at a gold egg instead of a guaranteed bronze.

Tips From Our Team

Five spots is a good thing

Honestly, five is the sweet spot. A map crammed with bunnies would mean sprinting all over during every round, and the fewer spots there are, the faster you can check them. Kowakujo keeps it tight, and after a few runs you will know all five by heart without a map open.

Do not trust the “5 per game” myth

You might read that Mr Peeks caps out at five appearances per game. That is not true. Some runs he barely shows, and some runs he keeps coming back. One of our players counted around nine on a single long run, so keep listening for his music deep into a game instead of writing him off after five.

Grab the early ones

Even a bronze egg on an early round is worth chasing. A few free perks and a Pack-a-Punch crystal in the first handful of rounds snowballs into a much stronger run. Do not skip a spawn just because you are not on tier 3 yet. Need a squad to grind Cursed tiers? Use our BO7 LFG system to find teammates.

When you hear music and there is no radio near you, drop what you are doing and check the five spots. Sixty seconds sounds like a lot until he spawns on the far side of the map.

The location map was created by Zircuit from the ZoneX community, who tracked every spawn on Kowakujo after launch, with spot footage from ZoneX himself. New to the mode overall? Start with our BO7 Endgame guide, then read the official Black Ops 7 page for the latest Zombies updates.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where does Mr Peeks spawn on Kowakujo in BO7?

Mr Peeks has five spawn locations on Kowakujo: the central sakura tree near Juggernog, a rooftop near Double Tap, the cage by the spawn room, the big boulder in the Flower Garden, and the Outer Ward near the Wisp Tea side. He picks one at random each time he appears, so any of the five is possible on a given round.

How many Mr Peeks spawn locations are on Kowakujo?

There are five confirmed Mr Peeks spawn locations on Kowakujo. The community tested this heavily across a lot of runs after launch and settled on five, so treat five as the complete list.

How do you find Mr Peeks on Kowakujo?

Listen for his music at the start of a round. When you hear it and there is no radio nearby, Mr Peeks has spawned at one of the five locations. You have 60 seconds from the round start to reach him and shoot him before he disappears with his egg.

What do Mr Peeks eggs give you on Kowakujo?

Shooting Mr Peeks drops a bronze, silver, or gold egg depending on your Cursed tier. Bronze gives 3,000 points, a raw aetherium crystal, a scorestreak, and 3 mystery perks. Silver gives 5,000 salvage, an ether tool, a raw aetherium crystal, up to 5 perks, a monkey bomb, and a scorestreak. Gold gives around 25,000 to 30,000 points, a flawless aetherium crystal, a legendary aether tool, 10 mystery perks, a scorestreak, and 2 wonder weapons.

Can you get a gold egg from Mr Peeks on Kowakujo?

Yes, but only on tier 3 Cursed. Tier 1 caps at bronze and tier 2 can roll bronze or silver. Even on tier 3 the gold egg is uncommon and you can still get a bronze, so tier 3 is the only shot at gold rather than a guarantee.

How often does Mr Peeks spawn in BO7 Cursed Mode?

Mr Peeks has roughly a 10% chance to spawn on any given round, including round one. Some games he shows up several times and some games not at all. There is no cap of five per game, so keep listening for his music the whole run.

Do you need to beat the Kowakujo Easter egg to find Mr Peeks?

No. Mr Peeks appears in Cursed Mode on tier 1 or higher regardless of Easter egg progress. You do need to beat the map's main Easter egg before you can unlock relic challenges, but that is separate from finding Mr Peeks and grabbing his eggs.
