The Wonder Weapon on Rex Infernus is Warden’s Blight, a dual-wield crossbow you craft through the map’s corruption quest. Rex Infernus is the map, Warden’s Blight is the weapon, and the two get mixed up constantly because the crossbow leaked from a cosmetic bundle before launch under names like “Golden Claw”.
- The Rex Infernus Wonder Weapon is Warden’s Blight, a dual-wield crossbow
- The Void Claw grapple gun is a separate item, not the Wonder Weapon
- You have to activate Pack-a-Punch first, then run the corruption quest to craft it
- The final lever puzzle uses a riddle that appears to be randomized per lobby
- Pack-a-Punched, it gains a charged shot that hit around 51,000 damage at triple tier in one test
What the Rex Infernus Wonder Weapon Is
Warden’s Blight is a dual crossbow that unloads arrows from the left and right hand. Pack-a-Punch it and the game renames it, adding an ether bolt and a charged cyclone shot that sucks zombies in before it detonates. The upgraded variant of the Warden’s Blight reads as “Seelve and Cashier”.
Get to Pack-a-Punch First
You cannot start the crossbow build until Pack-a-Punch is live, and that is its own short quest. Hold out in “Her House” for a few rounds, answer the ringing phone to open the exit and spawn a teleporter, then place the World Seed at the Nexus Forge. That releases two Dread Skulls. Take down each skull inside its Shadowsmith temple to light a brazier from the cauldron, then turn both crank wheels to lower the forge and switch Pack-a-Punch on.
The Void Claw grapple sits behind a newly opened doorway at the Nexus Forge the moment Pack-a-Punch activates. Grab it. You need the grapple for the crossbow steps, but again, it is the tool, not the weapon.
How to Build Warden’s Blight, Step by Step
This is the route we ran end to end. The wider community was still finalizing the exact universal order at the time of writing, so if a step gates differently in your lobby, that is why. The sequence itself held up for us.
1. Corrupt the forge. Pull the purple orb into Pack-a-Punch and crank it. Done right, the cauldrons light with purple flame.

Go back and interact with the purple flame, carry it to the eye at the back of Nyxara’s temple, throw the fire at the eye, and complete the laser puzzle with your grapple. The door opens on the blue beam.
4. Charge the vine. Move to the floating orb through the open door. You get stunned, drop through the floor into a hidden room, and reach the vine. It siphons your health while it charges, so top up before you commit.
5. Collect the three parts. A fruit spawns around round 8. Interact with it to teleport to a forest, then find three bodies and take a part from each. One is hidden under a board you have to knife to reveal. Sprint backwards as you grab them to cancel the cutscene and pick them up instantly.

Click to enlarge Part 3 6. Enter the lever code. Back at Dravakar’s temple, interact with the blue-symbol wall for a riddle. Four riddles map to four lever orders across three levers, then you pull the center lever to confirm. Get it right and you hear dialogue with a screen flash. Get it wrong and you wait until next round.

Enter the code correctly and the center pillar sinks into the floor, opening the roof above it. That opening is your way up, so head into the ceiling to reach the chamber where Warden’s Blight is crafted.
7. Craft the weapon. Grab a grapple hook, grapple up into the opening, and interact with the anvil ringed in blue flame. Warden’s Blight appears there.

As a weapon, it hits hard. At triple Pack-a-Punch one creator clocked charged shots around 51,000 damage, and the cyclone pull makes it strong for thinning big rounds. As a quest, it is a long one, and the community reaction has been mixed.
Honestly, a C+/B- for me. The WW quest is a huge slog and it’s not a particularly great WW anyways. Quest reminded me of the staff upgrades step where 99.99999% of people are just going to look up the correct combination.

That is the honest read. If you love a long build, Warden’s Blight is a satisfying payoff. If you just want the crossbow, follow this checklist and skip the puzzle-solving, because most players are looking it up anyway.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Wonder Weapon on Rex Infernus?
It is Warden's Blight, a dual-wield crossbow. Firing left and right unloads arrows, and it is the main craftable Wonder Weapon for the map. The name was confirmed on launch day by creators including MrDalekJD, Incredilags and ZoneX.
Is the Void Claw the Wonder Weapon?
No. The Void Claw is a grapple-gun traversal tool you pick up from a green orb at the Nexus Forge right after you activate Pack-a-Punch. It is a separate item and a lot of launch-day guides blur the two. The Wonder Weapon is Warden's Blight.
What are the lever codes for the Warden's Blight quest?
The blue-symbol wall gives you a riddle, and you match it to a lever order. In our run the pairings were: "runner that travels to stars, moons and galaxies stay true" was Middle 2x, Right 3x; "runner that travels moon, borrow from galaxies when stars stay true" was Left 3x, Middle 2x, Right 1x; "stars that remember moons, borrow the runner that travels the galaxy" was Left 1x, Middle 2x, Right 2x; "galaxies that drift to moons, borrow the runner that travels the stars" was Left 2x, Right 2x. The riddle appears to be randomized per lobby, so read your riddle and match it rather than memorizing one order.
What does Pack-a-Punch do to Warden's Blight?
Pack-a-Punching it renames the crossbow to "Seelve and Cashier" and adds an ether bolt plus a charged cyclone shot that pulls zombies in. At triple Pack-a-Punch, one creator's test showed charged shots hitting for roughly 51,000 damage.
Why do some guides call it the Golden Claw or Bloodthorn?
"Golden Claw" is a pre-launch guess from a leaked cosmetic bundle, before the weapon had a confirmed name. Bloodthorn is the Mastercraft reward skin tied to the Easter egg, not the weapon itself. The confirmed name is Warden's Blight.
