The Stuffed Elephant is a Sinister tier relic on Totenreich. Unlocking it requires something that sounds simple but is genuinely difficult: reaching round 40 without buying or obtaining a single perk. No Jugger-Nog, no Quick Revive, nothing. Once you survive that, the relic trial itself is straightforward. You find 4 hidden Mr. Peeks eggs across the map and kill the HVT elite enemy that spawns after each one.
- Cursed Mode Tier 1+, reach round 40 with zero perks from any source
- Camp the Lighthouse with Jotunn Star + Toxic Growth + Golden Armor
- Portal spawns behind Jugger-Nog on Fishery Island after Mr. Peeks laughs
- Find and shoot 4 Mr. Peeks eggs, kill the HVT that spawns after each
- Reward: Stuffed Elephant relic (health regen delay increased from 3s to 7s)
We completed this relic with our team and documented every egg location with scope screenshots. The hardest part is not the trial, it is the 40 rounds without perks. Here is everything you need to know.
Requirements
| Requirement | Details |
|---|---|
| Cursed Mode Tier 1+ | The Stuffed Elephant is a Sinister tier relic. Cursed Mode must be active. |
| Round 40 | You must reach round 40 before the portal spawns. |
| Zero Perks | No Perk-a-Cola from any source. No machines, no GobbleGums, no T.E.D.D. Trials, no Mr. Peeks eggs, no power-ups. Nothing that gives you a perk. |
Pack-a-Punch, Golden Armor, Disciple Injections, and Field Upgrades are all allowed. The restriction is perks only. Accidentally picking up a perk from any source voids the requirement and you have to start a new game.
Surviving to Round 40 Without Perks
This is the real challenge. Forty rounds without Jugger-Nog means you go down fast. The key is setting up a safe camp spot as early as possible and staying there. Here is the strategy that works.
The Lighthouse Strategy
- Open the map as fast as possible. Prioritize doors that lead to Beacon Island and the Lighthouse.
- Build the Jotunn Star Wonder Weapon. This is your primary damage dealer for the entire run.
- Get Golden Armor (Tier 4) from armor stations. This is your replacement for Jugger-Nog and reduces incoming damage significantly.
- Head to the second floor of the Lighthouse on Beacon Island. This is your camp spot.
- Use the Toxic Growth Field Upgrade. Zombies that walk through it take damage and slow down, giving you time to swing the Jotunn Star.
- Stay on the Lighthouse second floor and swing-spam the Jotunn Star to clear each round.
The Gift Card GobbleGum is useful here since it does not grant perks. Avoid any GobbleGum that gives Perk-a-Colas like Perkaholic or On the House.
The whole process takes about an hour. Be patient and do not push for speed. One mistake and you have to start over.
Finding the Portal
When you hit round 40 without having touched a single perk, you will hear Mr. Peeks laugh. That is your audio cue that the relic trial is ready.
The portal spawns behind Jugger-Nog on Fishery Island. Once the portal appears, you are free to buy perks before entering. Stock up on everything you need for the HVT fights, especially Jugger-Nog and Quick Revive. You earned it.
All 4 Egg Locations
Inside the trial, you need to find 4 Mr. Peeks eggs hidden across the map. The eggs are in the same locations every game and you can shoot them in any order. You start with a 3 minute timer. Each time you shoot an egg and kill the HVT that spawns, more time gets added.
The eggs are small colorful objects. Most are easy to spot, but the lighthouse egg is tricky. You do not need a sniper scope, but it helps for the harder ones.
Egg 1: Skallen Market
Look for the egg on a windowsill at Skallen Market. Shooting it spawns a Necropincer.
Egg 2: Storm Bridge
This egg is at Storm Bridge, near the robot foot. Shooting it spawns a double Ghast (two Ghasts at once).
Egg 3: Dry Dock
Find this egg in the Dry Dock area, near the Melee Macchiato perk machine. Shooting it spawns an Amalgam.
Egg 4: Beacon Island
The hardest egg to spot. Face southwest from the Flammenfalle trap on Beacon Island and look up at the lighthouse ledge. The egg is sitting on the upper walkway. Shooting it spawns a Zursa.
HVT Fights
After shooting each egg, an HVT elite enemy spawns near that location. You must kill it before moving to the next egg.
| Egg Location | HVT Enemy |
|---|---|
| Skallen Market | Necropincer |
| Storm Bridge | Double Ghast |
| Dry Dock | Amalgam |
| Beacon Island | Zursa |
Since you can buy perks after the portal spawns, these fights should not be a problem if you are fully perked up with Pack-a-Punched weapons. The Jotunn Star you used to survive the first 40 rounds works great here too.
After killing all 4 HVTs, the trial completes.
Rewards
| Reward | Type | Details |
|---|---|---|
| Stuffed Elephant | Sinister Relic | Health regeneration delay increased from 3 seconds to 7 seconds. |
The Stuffed Elephant is a cursed relic with a negative effect. Your health takes over twice as long to start regenerating after taking damage. This makes the game harder, which is the point. Cursed relics are required to progress to higher relic tiers (Wicked). You need to equip them to unlock the next set of relic trials.
For reference, here are all six Totenreich relics:
| Tier | Relic | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Grim | Power Switch | Equipment randomizes each round |
| Grim | Wrestler's Belt | Wall Buys randomize each round |
| Sinister | Stuffed Elephant | Health regen delay increased (3s to 7s) |
| Sinister | Dancing Arnie | Random perk effects |
| Wicked | Agarthan Device | Different zombie type spawns each round |
| Wicked | Music Box | Enemies only take critical hit damage |
Tips for the Stuffed Elephant Relic
- Be efficient early. Open the map fast, build the Jotunn Star, and get to the Lighthouse as your first priority. The longer you spend in the open without perks, the higher the risk.
- Golden Armor is your lifeline. Without Jugger-Nog, Tier 4 armor is the only thing keeping you alive against harder hits. Keep it repaired.
- Watch out for accidental perk pickups. Some GobbleGums, T.E.D.D. Trials, and Mr. Peeks eggs grant perks automatically. Read everything before you interact with it.
- Once the portal spawns at round 40, buy every perk you can before entering. There is no reason to do the trial without perks.
- The eggs can be shot in any order. Start with the ones closest to your position after entering the portal to save time.
- The lighthouse egg is the hardest to see. Look up at the ledge from the southwest side. If you cannot find it, bring a sniper scope.
